Sheepskins Cured sheepskins are available in a range of colours from fawn through chocolate brown to black. Each sheepskin is detailed complete with a picture on this website as they become available. Each year only 20 sheep on average enter the food chain. Uncured sheepskins are available by special order for members of re-enactment societies who prefer to treat them using traditional methods. Sheep horn Sheep horn's consist of two parts, traditionally the outer shell has been used as a drinking vessel or can be polished and used within jewelry. The harder inner sheep horn is commonly carved to form decorative tops for walking sticks or jewelry. |
